Frances Thorburn (Scotland)

Frances ThorburnFrances Thorburn was trained at the RSAMD. Her recent theatrical credits include Marilyn and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, for the Royal Lyceum in Edinburgh, The Cherry Orchard (Dundee Rep), The Wolves in the Walls (National Theatre of Scotland / Improbable Theatre), Antony and Cleopatra and In Extremis (Shakespeare’s Globe), Fiddler on the Roof (Sheffield Crucible / Savoy West End), “‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore” (Theatre Babel). Recent appearances on radio and television include: Taggart (STV), Candy Floss Kisses, McLevy/, The Smell of Growth, The Falls and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (BBC Radio). Frances is also a songwriter and has just released her own album, called The Needle Is The Haystack.
